Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee was composed of representatives from the commercial, recreational and environmental sectors, First Nations, and federal and provincial regulators. The group was tasked with:

• identifying and prioritizing SWI objectives
• exploring the social, economic and biological implications of various management options
• providing advice and making consensus recommendations to regulatory agencies based on input from the Technical Advisory Group
